Tableware clay. It is especially formulated for making tableware with high impact resistance. Firing at medium temperature (1150°C). Its white colour after firing provides and excellent ware for glazes and colouring oxides, being a clay suitable for many applications. Its fine texture makes it ideal for wheel-throwing and modelling. Available in extruded body (moist form).
Firing range: 1150-1180°C, Water content: 20%, Plasticity (IP Atterberg): 14, Carbonate content (CaCO3): 0%, Drying shrinkage: 5.3%, Firing shrinkage (1180°C): 6.1%, Porosity (water absorption at 1180°C): 0.1%, Dry bending strength: 6.9 N/mm2, Fired bending strength (1180°C): 38.1 N/mm2, Thermal coefficient (25-500°C): 61.4x10^-7°C^-1
