Material Description PROMATON® lightweight refractory bricks are produced from pure raw materials according to the casting or extrusion process using fine burnout materials and firing in modern furnaces. Production is quality-proven and certified according to ISO 9001. PROMACOR is a high-temperature thermal insulating material based on 98% alumina for temperature applications at up to 1700°C. PROMACOR is a fibre-free material and does not contain any free quartz. It is produced according to a special sol-gel process.
